On Amazon, <a href="http://techcrunch.com/2010/03/22/im-not-kidding-do-it-now/" rel="nofollow">just the number of stars</a>, regardless of what is said in the review or why, can hurt a product.<br /><br />And I once had the CEO of a company call me personally to ask me to remove a bad review I wrote on one of my more obscure websites (as if any of my websites are <em>not</em> obscure) - it had become the #2 Google result of the name of his company.
