Dark Knight

So dark.

This is one of those movies that will scour your soul. And yet leave you feeling oddly energized...

Nothing much to say except they got it exactly right. Heath Ledger's Joker blew me completely away, left me scrambling for a little toehold on a cliff face of insanity. Bravura performance. This film is a legacy.

Salud, Heath. Salud.

  1. As you know Dana, I work at a Cinema as Head Projectionist, what you probably didn't know was that Australia got to run "The Dark Knight" from Wednesday the 16th and as we are already at least 10 hours ahead of the US that gave us a couple of days head start on this one. The hard part of my job is when a movie like this one comes out I try to watch the very minimum I can get away with and still do my job properly because I don't want to spoil it, The usual scenario is that I get to watch a whole movie, a few minutes at a time but completely out of order, (I also run several other Cinemas at the same time so there is a lot of walking between port holes peering at screens through an 18" window and listening with a cheap speaker.)
So far the bits I have seen of it have only confirmed the things everyone was saying about Heath Ledgers performance before his un-timely demise. I will try and catch it Saturday morning
